Italian economist, journalist and writer. Napoleoni has worked at London School of Economics and IMF (International Monetary Fund), and also works as a correspondent for numerous Italian newspapers. Napoleoni has distinguished herself by her feminist and political engagement. She has gained broad recognition for her books about terrorism and the hidden economic networks and clusters behind it. Amongst her publications are Insurgent Iraq: Al-Zarqawi and the New Generation (2005) Terror Incorporated: Tracing the Dollars Behind the Terror Networks (2005), Rogue Economics: Capitalism's New Reality (2008)
