Swedish theatre director. Educated from the Danish National School of Theatre in 1988. In 1988 he was the originator of Nyt Skandinavisk Forsøgsteater (The New Experimental Theatre of Scandinavia) together with the scenographer Bente Lykke Møller, who is his long-time collaborator. Holm has been the leader of Malmø Dramatiska Teater from 1992-98 and of Dramaten from 2002-08. He has directed performances at the Royal Danish Theatre, Malmø Dramatiska Teater, Dramaten, Teatro National, Santiago de Chile, Teatro la Abadia, Madrid and Deutches Theater. Holm is also the originator of the Bergman Festival. From 2011 artistic director at Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus.
